NAMEC 2024 Awards
By Global Staff - January 13, 2025
Global is thrilled and honored to announce that our organization has been recognized with the prestigious Best Practice in Collaboration Among CE/CPD Stakeholders award as well as the Brian P. Russell Exemplary CE/CPD Professional Award this year.
The Best Practice in Collaboration Among CE/CPD Stakeholders accolade celebrates our commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships and innovative approaches that drive continuous improvement in continuing education (CE) and continuing professional development (CPD). Collaboration is the cornerstone of advancing education in the medical field. This award specifically honors activities that highlight unique and effective ways to bring stakeholders together, whether through policies, procedures, or groundbreaking partnerships. At its core, this recognition signifies our dedication to working in harmony with diverse stakeholders to create impactful, learner-centered programs that enhance professional competence and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, stakeholders, and team members who made this achievement possible. Together, we’re shaping the future of medical education—one collaboration at a time.
We are also pleased to announce that our very own Andrea Funk has been named the recipient of the Brian P. Russell Exemplary CE/CPD Professional Award. This recognition is not only a professional milestone but a reflection of the incredible community of continuing education (CE) and continuing professional development (CPD) professionals who inspire, challenge, and support one another every day.
This award was first established in 2005 as the Exemplary CME Professional Award as part of the inaugural NAMEC Best Practice Awards. In 2010, it was renamed to honor the late Brian P. Russell, an esteemed leader in the field of CE/CPD and a passionate supporter of NAMEC (National Association of Medical Education Companies). Brian’s legacy continues to resonate through his dedication to advancing medical education and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
Cheers to the future of CE/CPD and the continued impact we can make together!
