Global Spotlight: Colorado Rockies

August 13, 2014

To build the Global team and reconnect outside of work, our staff enjoys a team building event each quarter in the Denver area. Past events included an outing at a Colorado Avalanche hockey game, an Iron Chef cooking competition, and a volunteer activity called Yard Angels where we helped clean up yards for homeowners who no longer were able to do this work themselves.   Last week, the Global team enjoyed a Thursday afternoon baseball game at Coors Field where The Colorado Rockies took on The Chicago Cubs. The thunder and rain rolled in right around the 1:10 pm starting time and the game was delayed for 45 minutes. The rain cleared and the not-so-good Rockies and Cubs took the field for an entertaining game that included multiple home runs and errors. The game was close until the 6th inning when the Cubs homered twice to pull away for good.  The Cubs closed out the game with another home run in the 8th inning and left Denver that night with a 6-2 victory over The Rockies.
